Glass Reinforced Concrete is designed for use in areas where issues of weight are of vital importance, examples are Cornice Situations, Parapet Copings, Door Surround and Column Cladding. G.R.C is fixed to an existing structure using specially designed support systems. This weight saving option is achieved by spraying a mixture of Sand and Cement and A.R. Glass Fibres into Prefabricated Moulds. The strength the glass fibre gives concrete enables profiled units to be manufactured in thicknesses from 7mm-15mm, giving the appearance of stone at a faction of the weight. Some products manufactured in GRC, such as door surrounds, etc. can be faced fixed after construction of the building, so speeding up your build programme but still giving the desired aesthetic appearance.
